2008 Nissan Versa
For 2008, the Nissan Versa expands its appeal in 2007 with an optional Sport Package for Versa Sedan SL models which was previously available on the Versa Hatchback SL.
The 2008 Nissan Versa offers the highest standard horsepower rating in class and unexpected availalbe technology, including Nissan's Intelligent Key, Bluetooth Hands-free Phone System, a Rockford Fosgate subwoofer, an auxiliary mp3 player input and XM Satellite Radio.
The front-wheel drive Nissan Versa is offered in two body styles, a 5-door hatchback and 4-door sedan each with two well-equipped models, the Versa 1.8 S or the Versa 1.8 SL.
A Sport Package is now available on the 2008 Nissan Versa Sedan 1.8 SL model adding higher level of performance styling with a rear spoiler, lower body side sill extensions, unique front and rear fascia and chin spoiler and fog lights.
The heart of all 2008 Nissan Versas is a standard 122-horsepower 16-valve 1.8-liter DOHC 4-cylinder engine and a choice of three transmissions, an availalbe Nissan Xtronic CVT that provides smooth shifting and enhanced fuel efficiency, available 4-speed electronically controlled automatic with overdrive or standard 6-speed manual transmission.
An independent MacPherson strut front suspension and torsion beam rear suspension with front and rear stabilizer bars are standard equipment on all 2008 Nissan Versas. Other standard equipment includes electric power steering, power-assist front disc/rear drum brakes and 15-inch wheels. Available equipment includes Anti-lock Braking System with Electronic Brake force Distribution and Brake Assist and 15-inch 6-spoke aluminum-alloy wheels.
The 2008 Nissan Versa Hatchback is offered in four models, Versa 1.8 S with 6-speed manual transmission, Versa 1.8 S with 4-speed automatic, Versa 1.8 SL with 6-speed manual transmission and Versa 1.8 SL with Xtronic CVT. The 2008 Nissan Versa Sedan is available in three models, the Versa 1.8 S with 6-speed manual transmission, Versa 1.8 S with 4-speed automatic and Versa 1.8 SL with Xtronic CVT.
Available option packages and equipment include the Sport Package, Moonroof Package, Power Package, Convenience Package, ABS Package and XM Satellite Radio.
